Take a deep breath ,count to 10 and relax
Bride can switch engagement ring to right finger

Bride and bridesmaids attend hair and makeup appointments.
Bride and groom get dressed with help from their attendants.

Give the wedding rings to the designated attendants.

Send out invitations for rehearsal and rehearsal dinner
Confirm music set with dj or band
Go for trial hair and makeup appointment ( bride and Bridesmaids ) Bring veil, headpiece.
Order wine, beer, and liquor if not provided by the caterer.
Confirm floral orders and delivery times at the ceremony and reception
Schedule set up and takedown times for dj or band. Make sure they have room and necessary electrical hookups for their equipment.
Create the seating arrangement for the reception.
Finalize the wedding day arrival times and meeting locations with your photographer.
Arrange for transportation to and from the airport if you are leaving right away for your honeymoon.
Arrange for your mail to be picked up and pets taken care of while you're away.
Double check that your passports and travel visas are up to date.
Arrange to have the groom's and groomsmen's formalwear returned to rental location.
Talk to your attendants who will give a speech let them know when thay are going to talk and how long of a speech to give.
Give copies of readings and poems to people who will be reading them.
If children are coming to the reception make arrangements to have a babysitter or kid friendly area.
Ask someone to be in charge of handing out bubbles. confetti, etc.

The bride should go to her final dress fitting. Bring along shoes, veil or headpiece and accessories to try with the gown
Purchase ceremony extras as needed ( wine glass, aisle runner, candles, etc. )
If your state requires a blood test have it done now.
Get the marriage license.
If you are moving after the wedding get change of address card now.
Meet with bank to get new joint accounts and changes to insurance policies.
Meet with lawyer to discuss new wills.
Secure tent, chair, and table rentals if you need them.
Buy a guest book if you haven't already done so.
Check with bridesmaids to ensure they have alterations complete. Make sure they picked up their dresses, shoes, accessories.
Check with groomsmen to make sure their formalwear rentals are booked. Ensure they all have their shoes and accessories.

If you want a wedding announcement to appear in the newspaper, submit your photo and write up notice.
Discuss plans for bachelor, bachelorette party.
Add or update items on your gift registry.
Start assembling guest favors, if needed.
If you plan to leave welcome gifts in your guests hotel rooms., start assembling them now.
If you and your partner plan to exchange gifts start looking now.

If you haven't already done so buy attendant gifts
Book trial hair and makeup appointments.
Provide a list of must play and do not play songs to the dj or band. Also provides a list of special dances, and special announcements such as Cake cutting, bouquet toss.
Decide whether or not you and your fiancé will see each other before the ceremony.
If you are traveling to a tropical destination for your honeymoon check with your doctor to see if you need any shots before you leave.

Taste- test wedding cakes. When you find on you love put an order in, sign a contract with the baker and arrange for delivery on the day of ceremony.
Make restaurant reservations for the rehearsal dinner.
Update gift registry and wedding website if you have one
Review readings and poetry for the ceremony.
If writing your own vows start them now.

Meet with all your vendors to verify and finalize your selections
Create maps and write directions for your guests
Hire limo or car service for yourself and for the wedding party
Start thinking about the honeymoon plans.
Do you want a tropical vacation?
Gather travel brochures, check out websites, talk to a travel agent
Schedule time off of work. Your going to need a few days or a week for last minute details.
Book hair and makeup appointments for the wedding day.
Finalize the guest list.
If the reception does not supply them find a place to rent linens, place settings, silverware etc.
Start mailing thank you cards if you received any gifts.
Let the bride and grooms mother know what to expect so they can start looking for there wedding outfits,
Reserve the groom's formalwear from the rental company, including shoes
Schedule groomsmen fittings and reserve formalwear from rental company.

Choose the style, font, paper stock for your wedding invitations. Work on the wording. Do the same for seating cards and any other stationary you plan to use.
If needed hire a calligrapher or printer.

Book a block of hotel rooms for out of town guests.
Buy bridal accessories. including lingerie.
If you want guest to throw something after the ceremony decide on it now. ( note most places will not do rice or confetti) Bubbles seem to be most popular.
