Wedding Time Frame

Month 1


Send out invitations for rehearsal and rehearsal dinner


Confirm music set with dj or band


Go for trial hair and makeup appointment ( bride and Bridesmaids ) Bring veil, headpiece.


Order wine, beer, and liquor if not  provided by the caterer.


Confirm floral orders and delivery times at the ceremony and reception


Schedule set up and takedown times for dj or band. Make sure they have room and necessary electrical hookups for their equipment.


Create the seating arrangement for the reception.


Finalize the wedding day arrival times and meeting locations with your photographer.


Arrange for transportation to and from the airport if you are leaving right away for your honeymoon.


Arrange for your mail to be picked up and pets taken care of while you're away.


Double check that your passports and travel visas are up to date.


Arrange to have the groom's and groomsmen's formalwear returned to rental location.


Talk to your attendants  who will give a speech let them know when thay are going to talk and how long of a speech to give.


Give copies of readings and poems to people who will be reading them.


If children are coming to the reception make arrangements to have a babysitter or kid friendly area.


Ask someone to be in charge of handing out bubbles. confetti, etc.


 Ask 1 or 2 people to collect flower arrangements, candles, etc. you want saved  after the reception.
